AMS Sustainability Projects Fund Launches Sustainability Challenge

Now you have the opportunity to travel with your project to attend the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education 2012 meeting in Los Angeles, CA this Fall!

At our April 9th 1st Annual AMS Sustainability Projects Fund End of Term Showcase, each project will have the opportunity to do a short Pecha Kucha style presentation to pitch why members of their project team should be sent to AASHE 2012.

If you’d like to present your sustainability project at AASHE 2012, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Your project must be an AMS Sustainability Projects Fund Sponsored Project between September 2011 through March 2012

2. You must present a short Pecha Kucha style description of your project at our Sustainability Fund Showcase on April 9th.

After the presentations at our April 9th Showcase Event, voting will take place to choose the top two projects which will be sent to AASHE.

If you are voted to to go to AASHE, we’ll cover airfare and accommodations for a member of your team to go to Los Angeles to present your work if your abstract is accepted to the conference.
