Project title: Acadia Park Buddy Family Pilot Project

This project aims to make it easier for new families to integrate into the UBC community, make new connections,  foster greater community spirit and raise awareness about sustainability. New families are given the option to ‘buddy-up’ with an established family in Acadia Park, who will help introduce them to the neighbourhood, with a particular emphasis on sustainability issues. As an added incentive, participants will be given a $100 dollars towards the cost of a family dinner at a local restaurant.
