Gus is a fifth year Engineering Physics student with a passion for sustainability. He graduated from high school in Accra, Ghana, where he conducted an independent assessment of the school’s carbon footprint and used his findings to convince the school board to invest in a fleet of school busses, cutting emissions by 40%. Now he supports UBC students in their own efforts to promote sustainability by overseeing projects and making sure they get all the help they need.
